ABOUT THE CLUB |

The Club was founded in 1978 and since then it is the member of the Latvian cynological federation (LKF), which is the member of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI). Club breeds are — Tibetan spaniel, Shih-Tzu, Maltese, Russkiy Toy, Continental Toy spaniel (Papillon, Phalene), Chinese Crested dog, Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Griffon, Chihuahua, Bichon Frise and Havanese. Our main goals are — to popularize dog breeds represented by our Club and to assist new dog owners as well as dog breeders. We have moved forward with strict requirements for dog breeding. Not only good assessments in exhibitions are required, but also the health examinations — tests for patella and PRA. Puppy owners, especially if it is their first dog, need to keep in touch with the experts from our club and their breeders. Before purchasing a puppy, it is advised to consult with our Club about puppy’s health and heredity. We are offering discounts for dog food and veterinary services to our members and providing support in dog raising. Discounts for acquisition of a qualitative forage for dogs and on veterinary service are given to members of the Club. Cynologists of the Club will render you comprehensive support in education of a dog, will help owner-beginners to get and grow up a puppy, and also will give the information on how to increase the educational level in the questions connected with cynology.
